Crystals are a tool to empower your life. Many of my students have asked about the energy in crystals. My answer is that crystals come from the Source of All. They were created to be used by us for life enhancement. We're coming into a New Age that the theme is Energy! We are no longer living in the Clockwork Age ruled by Newtonian Physics but the Age of Energy governed by Quantum Physics. It's an exciting time with many possibilities that boggle the mind.

An interesting new field of study is being pioneered by Dr. Masaru Emoto from Japan. He has invented a way of photographing water crystals. He has proven that thoughts, words, music and even photographs have a profound effect on water. He has exposed water to music, printed word and photos then taken photos of the water crystals. The results are amazing! The formations of the water crystals is beautiful or scary depending on what the water was exposed to. Even thoughts were proven to have an effect. How does this apply to me, you may well ask. We're made up of 90+% water. Think about that! What have you been exposed to today? How might it affect you? Crystals can be used to buffer the effects of environmental pollution by placing them strategically in your home and workplace. Placing crystals in a water fountain whether it's a large one or small can give the benefit of water and crystals together. It'll charge the area with negative ions which is soothing to the whole system and put crystal energy into the room, too.



Meditation/Clarity

Here's a lovely way to calm the mind, regain focus and balance, or relax to sleep. It's very nice when used on your meditation altar.

Materials:

• 5 or 7 tumbled Amethyst pieces
• Small white candle (tea lights are fab for this since they are already in their own holder, but any small candle will do)
• Fire proof surface to place candles and crystals on (my choice is a ready made pentacle that can be used over and over.)
• A purposed oil to anoint the candle if you so desire (peace, clarity, etc.)

Place the candle in the center of the pentacle. Place the amethysts on the points of the pentacle. State your purpose for clarity, light, etc. and light the candle. Sit quietly clearing the mind and enjoy. When you feel done, put the candle out.

The extra 2 crystals can be held in your hands to enhance the effects.
