Crystals
are beautiful. We are drawn to them and have been since the
first one was dug up or found lying on the ground by primitive
man. Primitive man found many uses for them. Points on a stick
for hunting, as arrow tips, but they really took the spotlight
when they were used as objects of power.
Primitive
man started tying them on a leather cord and wearing them around
the neck or wrist. As man progressed, the uses for crystals
became more refined.
Nowadays,
there has been a resurgence of interest in crystals healing
powers and their use in feng shui. They are found in many homes
these days as decorative objects that also help keep good chi
circulating through the house or to keep a room energized with
good chi while repelling bad chi.
Crystals
can be worn as jewelry to give the wearer the benefit of the
special healing qualities of the stone. They are also made into
talismans of power. Crystals can calm, stimulate, detoxify,
draw money, protect, help draw love into your love or help with
self love. There are as many qualities in crystals as there
are in people.
Here's
just a small sample of crystal possibilities:
Emerald:
Helps undo negative feelings about love.
Aventurine:
A pretty green stone sometimes called the 'Gambler's Stone'
because it is said to bring luck to the user. Keep it in your
pocket so it'll never be empty.
Ruby:
Prosperity, Longevity, Good Health, Passion, Passionate Love
Onyx:
Repels negativity
Hematite:
Very grounding
Amethyst:
Psychic protection, loyalty, legend says it'll keep one from
becoming inebriated while drinking wine.
Jet:
Used for mourning jewelry in Victorian times. Protects the owner
from absorbing negativity by absorbing it for you. Good when
a piece is put under your pillow to prevent bad dreams. A caution:
Never let anybody else handle your personal piece of jet.
